Trauma and toxic stress are prevalent in our world, impacting many of the people we interact with, including staff and colleagues. By exploring and understanding these impacts, we are better able to lead from a framework of compassion and empathy. Throughout this interactive workshop, we’ll discuss how to lead with a trauma-informed approach, increasing psychological safety and creating greater resilience for your organization.

Facilitated by Amanda Hill, Director of Training, Parenting Now.  Amanda Hill is the Director of Training for Parenting Now, as well as a professor of Child Development. She has worked within the field of early childhood education, child development, and parenting education for the past 15 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Adolescent Development and a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning, with emphasis in Early Childhood Education. In 2019, Amanda published her first book, Growing Pains: A Parent’s Guide to Child Development.
