If you didn’t know, EHS partners with South Town Rotary to provide needed safety items to the families we serve, such as outlet covers, cupboard safety locks, and fire extinguishers. This family received a fire extinguisher several months back. Earlier this week their stove caught on fire and the smoke alarm did not go off. Thankfully, they were able to use the fire extinguisher we had given them to put out the fire.
Here’s the text that this mom sent to her EHS Teacher…
“I just wanted to say Thank you for everything you and head start have done for my family and I. If we wouldn’t of had the fire extinguisher you guys provided we would have lost our house last night.”
